Infidelity, deceit, money and greed, blackmail, business fraud. One step leads to another and then you’re on the slippery slope. Things get away from you, and you’re on a runaway train. That’s fine as far as a plot for a thriller goes, but when things get out of hand for the director? This is a problem. And this is exactly what happens here in this entertaining-up-to-a-point Aussie film.
Too bad too, because until that point there is good tension, and the right amount of suspense. Then it all goes to hell in one scene that just had me groaning. A little restraint might have gone a long way.
