Choke ~ (USA, 2008) ~ DVD

See, I didn’t read Palahniuk’s novel, but I’m convinced there were two ways to go with this adaption. The wrong way and the right way. I’d guess this film represents the wrong way. There are some movies that seem effortless in the making and unfolding. Then there are other films which seem to have been made with little effort, Try and guess which side of the effort coin this one represents.

If it were going for laughs, at least it could have been funnier. If it were going for skin, maybe the skin could have been more appealing. Not a fun movie. Not sure who this would appeal to. Not me, for sure.
