Fourth of July – The Lyrics
After posting the Dean Wareham piece, which included a few lyrics to my favorite Galaxie 500 song, I got the urge to play the lyrics game. Here are some lyrics highlights (and mostly low-lights) from other artists who have recorded their own Fourth of July songs. Some of them you could put together with the artist easily, others….not so much. Anyway, this is only a sample, believe it or not. And hats off to Ani DiFranco.
